So many people I know just hate winter! While autumn is my truly favorite season, I love winter too. It holds such promise. I collected a few quotes about winter:

Clint took me on yet another picture taking trip to a conservation area about 10 miles from the house. As we drove around and into the area, I snapped a lot of pictures from the truck window and was thinking about how gloomy it looked. I figured all my pictures would turn out just being these gray blobs of stuff; the “stuff” of winter. But, ALAS… I found some great color out there. The colored stuff that holds the promise!
